President Mike with Polio survivor and “PolioPlus” advocate Ramesh Ferris

Rotary Club of Montréal was established in October 1913, having now 99 years long tradition of community service and philanthropic projects locally as well as internationally.

Rotary International was founded in February of 1905 in Chicago. And is today a nonprofit volunteer fellowship of women and men who are dedicated making the world a better place. RI counts 1.2 million members in 34,000 separate clubs in 166 countries around the world

One of the RI's top philanthropic goals is to eradicate polio worldwide. Since establishing its “PolioPlus” program in 1985, Rotary members have helped to immunize more than 2 billion children in 122 countries, and have contributed more than $600 million toward a polio-free world.

Members of the Rotary Club of Montreal meet weekly to plan local and international service projects, and, in the process, build friendships and enlarge their circle of business and professional acquaintances. Rotary clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.

Every meeting of the Rotary Club of Montréal features a vocational guest speaker covering wide range of topics and geographic regions.

Do come visit us, to learn more.  We meet at the St. James Club every Friday at 7.30 a.m.

We would be pleased to talk to you about Rotary and how you, too, may become a member of this international service organization.

Sincerely,
Michael Zivic
