Local Projects

Service begins at home. For decades, the Rotary Club of Montreal has supported people in need across Greater Montreal through hands-on volunteering and financial support. We focus on three priorities: fighting food insecurity, supporting people experiencing homelessness, and creating opportunities for young people.

Fighting Food Insecurity

Too many families in Montreal struggle to put food on the table. Our club works alongside local food banks to help them collect, sort and distribute food to those who need it most, through donations, volunteer shifts and partnerships with local businesses.
 

Supporting People Experiencing Homelessness

Since 1999, our members have gathered every year at the Old Brewery Mission to serve supper and provide financial support. Over the years, we have also supported organizations such as La rue des Femmes and Chez Doris, which help vulnerable women rebuild their lives.
 

Investing in Youth

Young people have always been at the heart of our club. From our historic Public Speaking Contest to our support for local youth groups, we help young Montrealers build confidence, develop leadership skills and find their place in the community.
